When they can confide in you about their struggles, you will understand from their viewpoint why some things happen. When you become close to your students, you will be able to read them like a book and respond accordingly. The sense of accomplishment that comes from being a teacher is undefeatable. You were part of their growth and you get to see the person they have become. Your connection with your students lets you feel proud and immense happiness when they do well. You will do your best to ensure that they are prepared academically and emotionally for what comes next.
